About Me
Hi, my name is Vladimir Kuznichenkov. I'm a Staff Infrastructure Engineer based in Tallinn, Estonia.
This blog is my attempt to synthesize and share what I've learned along the way. The topics I write about are heavily influenced by what I'm currently working on and interested in. The content will probably change over time, but at a high level I'm interested in:
- Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
- Networking, especially in Telecom/VoIP contexts
- Developer Experience and platform engineering
- Database operations and performance tuning
Although I have a degree in Medical Engineering, I wasn't able to pursue that career path. Instead, I started as a hardware developer, later transitioning to software development, and eventually found my home in infrastructure engineering.
On the side, I've been working on the HDO platform — an attempt to solve the seemingly unsolvable problem of hiring the right engineers. The project started in my kitchen back in 2021 when we were brainstorming tools to optimize the time I spent on interviews.
If there are any posts here you'd like to know more about, or if you just want to chat about infrastructure, EKS, Kubernetes networking, or any other topic — feel free to drop me an email. I'm always happy to connect and learn something new in a conversation.
